About

Before we tell your story, here’s a bit about me. I am a mother to two girls, one who is a rare disease warrior and the other a superhero. My partner is an amazing man who keeps my spirit alive. When life takes us on unexpected journeys, I aim to find the light that is not always so apparent at first, because these are often our best opportunities for growth. I believe in community, being a good neighbour and staying connected to my pack. I also have a degree in Interior Design and a deep appreciation for well made objects.

I am a Level 2 Digital Storytelling Facilitator, and have trained with Common Language DST to facilitate group and individual digital storytelling workshops. My storytelling process helps organizations to tell honest and impactful stories from their community through short films. Through my own experience as a rare disease mom, I know that digital storytelling can create new conversations, connect communities and shift perspectives. I believe that sharing the reason we show up in ourselves and our work will invite others to do the same.

I picked up the camera at the age of 13 and haven’t put it down since. Documentary family photography allows me to create beautiful visual stories from the raw everyday moments that make up life in our homes. I show up ready to get into the muck with your family. I embrace the messy, chaotic, joyful, funny moments, and even the ordinary ones that may pass us by. I love sharing photo albums with my families, because there is power in the moment you see yourself.

We have stories to tell, let’s do this together.
